It's a brave new ICT frontier for students, staff and parents at Engadine West. We're boldly going where we haven't gone before. We have started using our connected classrooms and the results are significant.
Year 6 students have commented;
"It's great to share what you are learning."
"We're in touch with people so far away."
"They're so far away but we are talking with them and learning."
Classes 6E, KD, 1N & 1P have all been video conferencing with Banksmeadow Public School. We have shared work samples and discussion on a range of topics including; sustainability, gardening, transition to kindergarten and high school, web page design and art appreciation.
Thanks to teacher Lisa Wright and the Banksmeadow teaching team's enthusiasm we have fostered a close working relationship that will continue to grow and provide significance and voice in our students' learning.
