Watoto, is an International organisation which responds to the needs of parentless children of East Africa, Uganda.
In 1994 Watoto child Care ministries was established. It is a compassionate response to the critical Aids and civil war crisis affecting this country. Watoto is impacting the lives of more than 2,000 orphaned children. Providing, physical, emotional, educational and spiritual care and support to some of Uganda's most vulnerable children.
The concert of Hope performed by these very same children is to raise awareness of the plight of 2 million children in Uganda, left parentless as a result of war and disease. Concerts of Hope are intended to uplift your audience, as well as raise funds through love offerings And individual child sponsorships so that Watoto can provide family life, shelter, food, clothing, and education for these precious children.
We are very privileged to have the Watoto come and perform for our school on Wednesday 25th July 2012.
They will be performing in the school hall at 11am, all students will get the opportunity to experience the love, fun and enthusiasm these African children show to all.
On the day a love offering will be taken up to support the continued efforts of the Watoto Children's Ministry. Please give where you can.
Watoto will also have a display of beautiful African items inwhich you have the opportunity to buy for yourself.
