What a week it has been so far! Today our students sat the final NAPLAN test and we are proud of how well our students have conducted themselves.
As a fun final event this week, on Friday 16th May, our Year 5 students will be participating in Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution Day.
Year 5 students received a note home yesterday (Wednesday 14th May) with information Food Revolution NOTE (doc 284 KB) and details.
This worldwide event focuses on teaching children healthy eating habits and fits nicely with their current Science unit of work 'Food for the Tucker Box'.
Tomorrow (Friday), students in Year 5 will watch an online cooking demonstration by Jamie Oliver and then create the recipe under the guidance of Matt Preston (Miss Barrow), George Calombaris (Mr Meakin), Gary Mehigan (Mr Field) and Kylie Kwong (Miss Allatt).
