Science Fun Day was a huge success thanks to the expert support and leadership of Miss Paley, Mr Stolk and their fantastic team of Heathcote High School Year 10 workshop leaders. Our Year 4 students experienced a range of engaging science experiments that challenged their investigation, problem solving and designing skills and, promoted teamwork. Peer mentoring by Heathcote High School students is a proven powerful teaching and learning strategy. This quality incursion is another great example of our local DEC community of schools partnering to provide quality teaching and learning in promoting student and teacher high achievement.
