Both Jnr and Snr Engadine West Concert Bands were awarded gold trophies, the best possible, at the 2013 Bandfest held at Hurstville Civic Centre today. Both bands played exceptionally well. The Jnr band was led by their conductor Mrs Ryan and the Snr band was led by Mrs Holloway. The judges sang praises of both our bands and their conductors in their evaluations and pointed out that this was obviously a very strong strong band program with a tradition of highly successful performances and talented leadership. The band's audience of parent and teacher supporters were filled with emotion and pride at such a strong performance by our students at such a wonderful venue and prestigious event.
